It’s fantastic here. Trying the restaurant for the first time. Very impressed so far. Ordered chicken liver pate to start, escalope of chicken for main and I might have warm melting chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream for dessert. I’m drinking Victoria’s rhubarb gin with Fever Tree Ginger Ale.

We recently went to the Yellow Broom for Sunday Lunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday. It was wonderful, the food was excellent and the service and staff were amazing. We cannot fault it in any way and certainly hope to visit again as soon as we can.

If your looking for beautifully cooked and presented food in understated lovely surroundings with friendly service head to the Yellow Broom.
It’s refreshing to be able to hold a conversation without being bombarded by background noise and enjoy a little old fashioned luxury visit the website and view the menu you will be spoilt for choice although I highly recommend the fish soup it’s depth of flavour is wonderful that said I could continue with the steaks, sea bass, lamb you will not be disappointed, all three courses are well balanced so you can indulge in them all Enjoy.

Fabulous food, great place & wonderful staff. We thoroughly enjoy our meals at The Yellow Broom, it’s just fabulous!

We booked a table for 4 late in the afternoon of the day we visited and were told it was the last table. We did think that we might have had a table in the least pleasant part of the restaurant, but, no, we have a lovely table next to a window overlooking the garden.
The restaurant if beautifully decorated, light and airy, with lots of room between tables.
The service was first class and the food superb. I needed a gluten free meal and this was no problem whatsoever. I don’t often eat dessert, but had to have one when I saw gluten free Bakewell pudding with raspberry compote, serviced with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious, the Bakewell pudding was warm and the compote was just the right combination of tartness and sweetness. Gluten free desserts are often heavy, but this was anything but.
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a great meal with great atmosphere and service. Book a table you won’t regret it.
Had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant on Saturday and cannot fault it. The food was just delicious, the ambiance fantastic and the decor just lovely. It was a little piece of heaven and I have never been so relaxed in a restaurant… we sat back and enjoyed the evening – relaxing and not having to shout to make yourselves heard. The waitresses were attentive but not intrusive. Can’t say anymore really. 3 courses £29.95 Well worth it.

5 of 5 starsCalled in mid morning for a lovely coffee and delicious scones and cake. Such a pretty little restaurant, very quaint and beautifully decorated. We were made very welcome by a young lady who was delightful and very attentive. We will certainly return again… maybe for lunch next time. – Ruby Red Dragon. July 2016
